My daughter is 13 years old, and they are already required to write different types of essays in school. Doing critical analysis in answering a question or reflection paper took time, especially after attending online classes due to the Pandemic.

I enrolled her in the English Edge program to develop writing sentences and essays. After the first meeting, I noticed she was eager to attend the sessions. Whenever she has an online class, she actively participates because the way the teacher conducts the class is interesting, and she gets to share her ideas with her classmates. She also recites her essays in class to express her thoughts, which is good because it develops self-confidence.

Writing a good essay requires a good foundation in writing sentences, which is what English Edge does to my daughter. This program also builds self-confidence in writing and in communicating with others. It helps my daughter organize her thoughts, check her grammar and sentence structure, love reading books, increase her vocabulary, and improve her writing skills.

I tried a few trial classes in different outfits before deciding to enroll in The Learning Library due to a couple of reasons.

First, I liked how they give feedback on time and are very professional in handling concerns and inquiries.

Second, their teachers are pretty good. The topics are interesting and the activities are a mix of reading, recitation and games which makes my daughter look forward to the classes.

Third, I like that I am able to connect with the teachers for specific concerns regarding my child. If I know that there are areas that need extra push, I try and ask for additional activities that we can do on our own time.

Lastly, they send out monthly assessment to let you know of the progress of your child as well as the areas for improvement.

Research says that an engaged learning environment increases students' brain activity and focus. That's why I enrolled my twins at The English Library. Here, my girls are having fun while learning at the same time. I love how teachers use unconventional and interactive online games to make learning experiences more enjoyable for my daughters, thus motivating them to develop critical thinking, confidence and social communication. Indeed, learning doesn’t need to be boring.
